3. Data Storage and Firebase

4. Photo Storage and Moderation

Photos you upload to your profile are stored securely and used solely for display on your profile to other users. We reserve the right to access and review uploaded photos for content moderation purposes to ensure compliance with our Community Guidelines and Terms of Service. Our moderation staff may view photos to detect inappropriate content, verify authenticity, and maintain the safety and integrity of our platform. Photos found to violate our policies may be removed, and repeat violations may result in account suspension or termination.

5. How We Share Your Information

  • With Other Users: Your profile information, photos, and location (as displayed on your profile) are visible to other users of the App

If you delete your account, we will delete your personal information, including photos, location data, and contact information, within 7 days of account deletion. However, we may retain de-identified or aggregated data that no longer contains personally identifiable information for analytics purposes. We may also retain certain information for longer periods as required by law or to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

8. Permissions and How We Use Them

8.1 Location Permission

We request access to your device location to provide core features of our App. Location information is used to match you with users in your geographic area and to display your location on your profile. You can control location permissions through your device settings. Denying location access may limit certain App features.

8.2 Photo/Camera Permission

We request access to your photo library and camera to allow you to upload profile photos. Photos are used solely for display on your profile and are subject to moderation by our staff to ensure compliance with our Community Guidelines.

8.3 Contacts Permission

We request access to your phone contacts to enable you to invite friends to join Set Up. Contact information is not stored permanently on our servers and is only used to facilitate friend invitations. You can choose whether or not to grant this permission.

9. Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include encryption, secure authentication, and regular security assessments. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Children's Privacy

Our App is not intended for users under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 18 years of age. If we become aware that we have collected information from a person under 18, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.
